Genesis graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Politics and Government and a minor in Economics. While in college, she was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha Society and was on the Dean's list. She received an opportunity to travel to Amman, Jordan to join PAYCE Civic Podcasting Fellowship and podcast about young people's civic engagement. Genesis went on to work for personal injury firms before joining Sullivan and Brill, LLP in 2023. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. In her free time, Genesis enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, and biking.
